Bio for Shannon Lucas

Nominee for Secretary

Shannon Lucas, P.E. is a civil engineer and Manager of design, inspections, and consulting at Stormwater Maintenance & Consulting Services, a Woman Owned Business in Hunt Valley, Maryland.  Shannon was mentored by the pioneer of mid-Atlantic natural channel design, Jim Gracie, President and Founder of Brightwater, Inc. and has over a decade experience in stream restoration design.  Ms. Lucas is active in the Environmental and Water Resources Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers, through which she has published two papers contributing to the science of stream restoration. 

Bio for Ted Hogan

Nominee for Secretary

Mr. Hogan is a senior environmental scientist and ecological restoration specialist with 42 years of ecological assessment, design, and planning experience. His areas of expertise include fluvial geomorphology, stream restoration design, physical, biological, and chemical stream monitoring, wetland delineation and permitting, wetland mitigation design, and NEPA documentation. Ted is the founder and executive director of the non-profit Partnerships for Ecological Restoration.

Bio for Scott Macomber

Nominee for President Elect

Scott Macomber has been a member of MSRA for 6 years and an at large member of the executive committee for approximately 5 years. While serving on the executive committee Scott has coordinated the quarterly meetings and field trips. As a project manager for Angler Environmental, a stream restoration contractor, Scott is responsible for implementing stream restoration projects throughout the state. In this capacity he has overseen and managed the installation of several miles of restoration in the Piedmont and coastal plain regions of the state.
